Parkside allows you to schedule appointments online, which was super easy. The staff is great and cares about my pet.

My dear boy Banjo (1 year and 9 months old) was seen for about a year and a half at Parkside. We were told that he was a healthy boy, despite his weird quirks and swollen lymph nodes. We went to Parkside with concerns about his lymph nodes, got several hundred dollars worth of testing done, and were told that Banjo would be fine. They told us not to get any more tests because it would be an extra expense on top of the lymphocyte test, which would be “unnecessary” because he was “fine”. In November of 2025, we noticed Banjo was not himself. He was lethargic and not eating and had lost significant weight in the span of a week. We took him to a Pet Urgent Care in the area, and they told us that he was dying of kidney failure as a result of lymphoma. I cannot even describe how it felt to hear that. Only a few months after we had been told by Parkside that literally nothing was wrong with him, he was dying. He held on for a few more days, but we eventually made the decision to put him down. He was no longer able to eat, walk, go to the bathroom, etc. He was a shell of himself. The urgent care told us that if his condition had been caught early enough, we might have been able to give him a longer, healthier life. I realize that there is only so much blame to be put on any individual, but this was an enormous mistake by the staff at Parkside. I texted them just today (2/24/26) to finally inform them of his death. Their only response? “Thanks for letting us know.” Do not bring your pets here.
